Today on our blog we talk to one of our TTM Partners, Photographer Michael Smalley. After creating a collection of breathtaking images using a group of our new faces we wanted to find out what his inspiration was behind the shoot.
What was your inspiration behind the group shots?
My inspiration for the shoots I am doing at the moment comes from various places, mainly from photographers back in the 80’s and 90’s who were shooting to a natural stripped back style and approach.
How did you think the models worked together?
Brilliantly, pretty much all of them hadn’t met each other before but once we started the shoots this wasn’t an issue, all of them were confident and seemed to connect with what I had in mind and with the way I shoot.
Were you happy with the final images?
Absolutely, some of the shots have been my strongest images in regards to the direction I’m wanting to take my work right now.
