Today on the blog, we speak to New Face Nathan Wheatley. Nathan has previously travelled around the globe to many countries including Korea where he began modelling, before returning back to the North East.

What do you enjoy most about being a model?
A number of things. Obviously I enjoy being able to wear stylish outfits and meeting new people and making new friends but deeper than that I enjoy being at the centre of a group of talented people all working hard to create something stimulating and appealing. From the model’s perspective you can see all of the production and hard work that goes into the finest details and that’s quite humbling.
What is your career highlight to date?
I did a three day shoot on one of my modelling jobs in South Korea. It was the most robust job I’ve done. 2 days of studio shooting and then 1 location shooting at a maritime museum. The team were so nice and they’re still using the images of me to promote their brand. International fame.

Taller.
In five years’ time I hope to be…
Shorter. (If it means it’ll be easier to get more modelling jobs)
My biggest celebrity crush is…
Shakira. Always.
If I could travel to anywhere in the World it would be:
I think one day I will have to experience the United States.
My dream brand to work for would be:
Armani.
Who is your inspiration for being in this industry?
David Beckham always looks effortlessly cool, whatever style he’s working.

Favourite food?
There is absolutely no meal more satisfying than Spag Bol.
Favourite drink?
Non-alcoholic: a nice cup of tea.
Alcoholic: the very metrosexual Mojito.
