Today on the blog we talk with Eva Rankin. As she finds her feet in the modelling industry, we ask her thoughts and inspiration. Watch this space for this new face…

What do you enjoy most about being a model?
The thing I enjoy most about being a model is getting to experiment with different looks as it is almost like acting as you portray different characters to the camera.

What is your career highlight to date?
It would definitely be doing a shoot for La Di Da magazine with a Dalmatian puppy!

Who have you worked with so far and what were you helping them to achieve?
I have worked with many different photographers and La Di Da magazine, however I did a video shoot for Intu Metro centre to achieve a summery, happy video that would help to sell their clothes

What would your dream job be?
I would love to be a full time model or psychologist.

What advice would you give to an aspiring model wanting to start working in the modelling industry?
Be yourself and try and be different to others.

Who is your inspiration for being in this industry?
Adraina Lima, as she is an amazing model but also sticks up for female equality.

Have you been on any bookings where you felt the team worked particularly well together? How did it feel – tell us about it.
Yes, during a La Di Da magazine shoot the team all worked really well together, I even got a few piggy backs to prevent my shoes getting muddy which all adds up to get the best shot, everyone worked so hard.

How do you prepare for a booking? What do you make sure you know before you arrive on a shoot? Physically and mentally?
Before a shoot I make sure I’ve had enough sleep and something to eat that will keep me going so I am ready to work.
