The Victoria’s Secret fashion show. The most glamourous show of the year.
This year 51 lingerie clad models strutted their stuff down the glitzy catwalk in Paris showing off the brands newest must haves.
However there was one model who stood out more than others this year as she glided down the catwalk showing off her baby bump.
Irina Shayk is expecting a baby with her partner Bradley Cooper. As little as her bump might be, all eyes were on her midriff which was cleverly covered up with a tasselled ensemble.
A few familiar faces were absent from the catwalk this year after they gave birth to beautiful babies. Candice Swanepoel and Behati Pinsloo both gave birth just a few weeks before the event and were obviously too wrapped up in their new found mother-hood that they decided to give their wings a break this season.
There’s no question about it that every single one of the Angels work year round to keep their figure looking tip top. And it’s no different to our models.

Not Holding you Back
Model Charlotte Condliffe took part in a pregnancy shoot with a Tyne Tees Model client just before her due date and within 6 weeks both her and her little girl were in front of the camera again.
Women like this set a great example for the youth of today showing that anything is possible. Pregnancy doesn’t have to slow you down but they know their limits and they knew what they wanted to achieve with the new life growing inside of them.
Image is everything in this industry so keeping fit and healthy during a model’s pregnancy is key. Meaning once you have the baby you can enjoy your new born and get back to work as soon as you see fit.
So at least now you know, even for a Victoria Secret model, when you are about to become a new mother doing your dream job doesn’t stop you.
